Philip Salerno, III

Phil recently completed his 35-year tenure as president and chief development officer at Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation. Phil has dedicated his career to making the world a better place for children. Phil has also held leadership roles at the Georgia Chapter, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Paterson Diocese and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Since college, Phil has been motivated by a desire and commitment to help others achieve what they may not have known was possible. The growth and sustainability of the board and programs at Children’s Specialized are evidence of his commitment. Phil has served on the boards of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the NJ Center of Nonprofits, Lead NJ, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, NJ Chapter, Westfield Rotary and the Waterworks Conservancy. Biking, cooking, attending concerts and baseball games, learning Italian, and time with family and friends are a few of the activities that Phil enjoys.
