Chris Gagnier, MBA: Chair

Chris Gagnier joined the board in 2016 and currently serves as its president. With a professional background in finance, Chris has experience evaluating businesses. A graduate of Wharton Business School and University of Chicago, where he received his MBA with a focus on finance and international business, Chris’s long career includes tenures at Deutsche Bank and Aberdeen Asset Management as the Head of North American Fixed Income. He currently works as a private investor. Chris is based in Philadelphia and Nantucket, and believes deeply in the mission of Fairwinds. Chris says, “Fairwinds does a tremendous job with a small budget and literally saves lives—providing mental health services that are critical to the wellbeing of the island.” His commitment and hard work in supporting the agency are invaluable to Nantucket’s Counseling Center.
