Julia Yancy, BA

Julia Yancy was born and raised on Nantucket. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in May of 2022 and joined Fairwinds soon after to follow her passion for raising awareness and decreasing stigma around mental health. As a Therapeutic Mentor, Julia conducts one-to-one mentoring sessions with youth, addressing goals in their Outpatient Therapy or In-Home Therapy treatment plan. As Assistant Manager of the front office, she addresses client's needs and concerns while facilitating access to Fairwinds services and supports both clients and staff to create a welcoming and efficient environment. Julia will be pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work to become a licensed social worker. In her free time, she coaches ice skating at Nantucket Ice and enjoys travelling all around the world.
