Kristy Stankiewicz

Kristy is a sales associate at the Seconds Shop, the proceeds of which benefit Fairwinds— Nantucket’s Counseling Center. She oversees operation of the sales floor and points of sale, retail displays, intake of daily donations, volunteer assignments, as well as systems of storage and organization, flow of inventory and disposal. She loves the unique dynamics and challenges each day presents with changing inventory, and enjoys developing systems that create more effective, efficient, and profitable operations. She is also grateful for the opportunity to provide an enjoyable and needed retail outlet that cycles right back to the greater community through crucial mental health and substance abuse services, which is something Kristy feels a deep sense of investment, urgency, and responsibility, both professionally and personally. Kristy has a BA in Community Health Education/Public Health Kristy as well as a background in natural health in both a retail setting as well as personal practice, and training in clinical herbalism and Reiki. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, cooking, reading, and yoga.
