Mihaela Ivilova, AA

Mihaela is Fairwinds’ part-time bookkeeper. She was born and raised in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and studied for an associate’s degree in dental hygiene that she ended up not using. Instead, she spread her wings and, as part of a J1 exchange program, arrived on Nantucket in 2000. She received her green card through the lottery and settled permanently on the island. She took a bookkeeping course, realizing for the first time that she is good with numbers. She met and fell in love with another expat Bulgarian. They married and are raising their two children.
