Nora first joined the Fairwinds team in 2020 as a therapeutic mentor and is excited to return in June 2024 as an outpatient and in-home clinician. Nora grew up on Nantucket and was drawn to social work through her own experience on the island and wanting to make meaningful change in the community she loves. She graduated with her bachelor's in psychology from Clark University in 2020 and received her Master’s of Social Work from Simmons University in 2024. She most recently worked as a clinical intern at Pine Street Inn’s, Men’s Stabilization Program in Boston, focusing on individual and group therapy. During the past two years, Nora received training in Harm Reduction, Substance Use Recovery, Trauma-Informed CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness which she integrates into her practice. She is excited to return to the island full-time, reconnect with all of her favorite activities, and go on trail walks with her dog, Dumbledore.
