Patti became a Nantucket resident in 2021 after living and working in Connecticut for over 30 years. Earlier in her career, she taught Special Education at the Eagle Hill School and later became an advertising and marketing executive earning her MBA from New York University. Patti has a masters in school psychology from Fairfield University where she did research on ADHD. She found her true calling in social work after getting her MSW from Columbia University in 2009. At Family and Children’s Agency in Norwalk, CT, Patti served clients of all ages and demographic profiles and specializes in the evidence-based practice of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She helps clients dictate a story about significant events in their lives to share with loved ones, if they want to, thereby freeing themselves from intolerable memories. Patti joined Fairwinds in 2024 joining a vibrant and enthusiastic group of caring professionals.
