We're thrilled to share some fantastic news with you! Fairwinds has grown tremendously over the past year, doubling our services and extending our reach to more people in need. This remarkable growth is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the community. It is through partnerships with all of you, our community providers and stakeholders, that we have been able to achieve these remarkable strides forward.

To support this expansion and continue delivering exceptional services, we're implementing two major organizational changes:

Amanda Wright's New Role: Amanda, our highly regarded Clinical Director, is stepping into the role of Director of Crisis Response, Stabilization, and Community Relations. Her vast experience will further strengthen our ties with key community stakeholders, such as hospitals, emergency services, local schools, and state agencies. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth collaborations and effective 24/7 crisis response.

Introducing Rachel Meriwether: We're excited to announce a new position – Director of Outpatient and Community Based Services – and welcome Rachel Meriwether, LICSW, to this role. With over 15 years of experience in diverse settings and a resident of Nantucket for 3 years, Rachel's expertise is invaluable. She'll be leading initiatives that expand our outpatient and community services, bringing her knowledge and passion to serve more individuals and families.

These changes underscore our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our community. Amanda and Rachel's roles will enhance our ability to provide quality care and support, reflecting our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Currently, the search for the next Executive Director is ongoing, as we strive to identify a qualified individual who shares our commitment to the community and advancing the Fairwinds mission. Additionally, it is important to note that our organization continues to be led by our current Executive Director, Jason Bridges. Although Jason will be transitioning from his role, he remains our leader, actively involved in advancing our mission to ensure essential care reaches all of Nantucket.

We're incredibly proud of these steps forward and grateful for your continued support. Together, we're not just growing; we're evolving to better serve our community.
